The Manager of Reporting and Communications is responsible for leading the development of key communications efforts for the program to ensure adequate awareness and reporting on the progress and successes of the program. The Manager will maintain an accurate information platform and will be responsible for all regular internal and external reporting, including weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly, annual, final, and ad hoc reports; briefers, strategic technical documents, and English language communication tools (presentations, highlights, etc.). The Manager will respond to urgent requests for information on program performance in collaboration with the Director, Deputy Director, and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. The Manager will maintain a collaborative relationship with respect to requirements of the public relations branch of USAID and the U.S. Embassy, and accompany official delegations as needed. The Manager will report to the Director and collaborate closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, the Deputy Director, the Knowledge Management Manager, and the Managers of various objectives, especially as it relates to the strategic communication component within the purpose of Objective Two (Communications and Positive Messaging). The Manager will supervise a Reporting Specialist and a Translation and Reporting Assistant.

REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate degree insocial or human sciences, or in communications. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of technical writing and/or related research experience. Demonstrated experience in developing targeted reporting/communications tools and documenting program results for diverse social and cultural audiences, including donors, government officials, and other key stakeholders. Familiarity with USAID or other international donor reporting requirements. Experience with USAID Marking and Branding requirements preferred. Native-level English speaker; Spanish language fluency. Excellent communication and reporting skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in Spanish. Excellent computer skills, including knowledge/familiarity with Photoshop, Access, Excel, and Power Point. Ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and on high-profile, complex projects. Strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural aptitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Experience working in developing countries, with experience in Colombia preferred.
